100+ Idol Debuts Chapter 5: Truth

Welcome back to 100+ Idol Debuts! In the last chapter we welcomed Junsu Idol to the family.

And we start off with Jaejoong having a birthday again. This time, it’s to teenage years.

Junsu’s teenage trait is Foodie and he completed his child aspiration and has the Socially Gifted trait. His adult aspiration is World Famous Celebrity and therefore has the Gregarious aspiration.

I swear I’m randomizing their aspirations.

And I failed to get a teen picture of U-Know in the last chapter. Here is what U-Know looks like as a teen.

Can’t get to 100 babies if we don’t try for them.

Soon Korea gives birth to a fifth boy in a row. His name is Max.

And this toddler is Junsu. I forgot to get a picture of him as a toddler and besides the next picture is one of the only two pictures of Junsu as a toddler.

This being the next picture and therefore Junsu becoming a child. I did not get a picture of him as a kid yet. I’m a bad Simmer.

Junsu’s child trait is Music Lover and his child aspiration is Artistic Prodigy.

And this is their house as it stands.

And yes, there are 4 males at teen or older here. Because I’m a bad Simmer, I didn’t get a picture of Yoochun aging to child. Because I got distracted by my frustration at aging Yoochun up earlier than I wanted. He had the A required to age up so I’m fine rules wise, he had just not finished his child aspiration.

Yoochun’s teen trait is Perfectionsit and his adult aspiration is Body Builder and therefore his aspiration trait is High Metabolism.

And soon Max ages to toddler. He’s adorable and his toddler trait is Angelic.

Max Idol is named after Shim Chang Min. He was born on February 18, 1988 in Seoul, South Korea. His roles in TVXQ are Main Vocalist and Maknae.

The following music video is from their most recent Korean comeback, with the song “Truth” which had it’s music video released on December 26, 2018. This is an unusual comeback date as usually in the winter months most groups are focused on end of year music ceremonies and don’t want to be overworked. While they haven’t had a Korean comeback since then, they have had releases since in Japanese.

Max made his solo debut with the song “Chocolate” on 4/6/2020. The song compares cravings for chocolate to romantic relationships and debuted second on the Gaon charts, making the debut a success. He has comeback one time since this with the song “Devil” and he does also have videos for B-sides “Maniac” and “Fever”; “Maniac” drawing inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock movies.

100+ Idol Debuts Chapter 4: Jealous

Welcome back to 100+ Idol Debuts. In the last chapter the Idols welcomed Yoochun to the family.

We start off with Jaejoong aging to child. He got all of skills maxed and his child trait is Animal Enthusiast. HIs child aspiration is Social Butterfly.

Jaejoong is out socializing with strangers for his aspiration. Thankfully adults and kids walk by so that I can stay at the lot and focus on everyone’s tasks instead of just on one of them.

And it’s time for Korea and SM to work on another child.

Looks like it’s the TV Premiere holiday at the Idol residence as all four of the child or older Sims are watching tv instead of doing something more productive.

Jaejoong invites a neighborhood kid inside for socializing for his aspiration.

Korea soon gives birth to another child, another boy named Junsu.

And U-Know attempted to burn the house down.

And it appears that I forgot to get a picture of U-Know aging to teen. His teen trait is Art Lover. He did complete his child aspiration and therefore has the Creatively Gifted trait as well. His adult aspiration is Fabulously Wealthy and therefore his aspiration trait is Business Savvy.

Soon Yoochun maxes out his skills and earns the ability to age up to child. His child trait is Music Lover and his child aspiration is Artistic Prodigy.

Junsu Idol is named after Kim Jun Su. His stage name while in TVXQ was Xiah and he went to Junsu when he debuted with JYJ. He was technically born on December 26, 1986, but his parents didn’t register him until January 1, 1987. His roles in TVXQ are lead dancer and main vocalist. His roles in JYJ are lead dancer, main vocalist, and maknae. Maknae is what they call the youngest member and in many groups they are a minor when the group debuts even if others in the group are adults.

The following music video is from one of their Japanese comebacks, with the song “Jealous” which had it’s music video released on October 31, 2018. The album itself will be released on November 21, 2018. I will in general not put groups’ non-Korean releases as the video but with how popular TVXQ is in Japan and they were one of the first and this is not a Japanese version of one of their Korean songs I am including it here.

Junsu made his Korean solo debut with the song “Tarantallegra” on 5/14/2012. The album the song was released on went on to be one of the top selling albums on Gaon (a chart ranking the success of Korean releases, much like Billboard). This was despite Junsu’s former company making it harder for the members who left TVXQ to be successful. Junsu’s most recent release was “Hana” on 3/16/2022. He’s the only one of JYJ that’s currently releasing any music.

100+ Idol Debuts Chapter 3: Keep Your Head Down

Welcome back to 100+ Idol Debuts! In the last chapter we welcomed Jaejoong to the family.

We start off with U-Know aging to child.

U-Know’s child trait is Neat. His child aspiration is Artistic Prodigy.

His first course of action was to work on his homework that he magically had appear in his inventory. I love that.

Soon Korea goes into labor and SM panics in a completely different room than where Korea is.

Korea gives birth to another boy named Yoochun.

Jaejoong was dirty and so SM got told to give him a bath.

What’s this? A second toddler playing Jaejoong?

Yep. A second toddler as Yoochun has aged to toddler. His toddler trait is Independent. I love that toddler trait.

Yoochun Idol is named after Park Yoo Chung. He originally debuted with TVXQ under the stage name of Micky. When he debuted with JYJ he changed his stage name to Yoochun. Yoochun was born on June 4, 1986 in Seoul, South Korea. While a member of TVXQ his roles were main rapper and vocalist and those are his roles with JYJ as well.

Below is the music video for the song “Keep Your Head Down.” It was released on 1/3/2011. It was the first song released after Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu left TVXQ. While it was denied, there were claims that the song was aimed at the three who left the group. Despite these rumors, the song went on to be one of their more successful songs commercially.

Yoochun does not appear to have debuted solo as of this moment. Or at least not that I could find.

100+ Idol Debuts Chapter 2: Mirotic

Welcome back to 100+ Idol Debuts. In the last chapter we welcome U-Know to the family.

U-Know working on his communication skill. Starts off with blabbing to Blarffy.

Once we gain a point in the skill, we can hug Blarffy and we switch to that and watch the communication skill skyrocket to the max of 5 points before the end of the day.

Movement is up next. And that’s a whole bunch of sliding and walking to the other side of the house for food when hungry. This takes a day or two to do.

As U-Know is not independent, SM gets roped into potty training him.

Here’s a picture of the house now. Have a bed in a separate room for U-Know when he ages to child, there’s a room with the scout badges as well as the various child items for the child aspirations. I also add a jungle gym and monkey bars to the outside so that I don’t even have to leave the lot for most of the child aspirations.

Korea is also used to help U-Know with his potty training. At least until he gets the point needed to do it on his own.

Once we’ve got movement at 5 skill level, we move into imagination. And that’s playing with dolls at the dollhouse.

And well, without regular diaper changes to raise hygiene, U-Know requires a bath to not be angry or sad due to low hygiene.

Soon, Korea gives birth to another boy and this one is named Jaejoong.

After imagination is at 5 skill points, we move onto thinking. And thinking is queuing up a bunch of Watch interactions with another Sim in the house and letting them play out and doing that multiple times in a row.

You do have to queue the watch interactions up before they start with one so you can’t just continually keep the queue maxed by using the same Sim, so I would sometimes have U-Know move between parents if I caught his queue low while going between my Sims.

But sometimes I miss the queue drop and find cute things like this: SM and U-Know playing with dolls together.

And it’s time to get on with trying for the next Idol!

As Jaejoong has aged to toddler. His toddler trait is Inquisitive.

Jaejoong Idol is named after Kim Jae Joong. He originally debuted with TVXQ under the stage name Hero, however when he split from TVXQ and debuted in JYJ, his stage name changed to just Jaejoong. Since he’s been a part of JYJ longer than TVXQ, his stage name with JYJ is used. Jae Joong was born on January 26, 1986 in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. While a member of TVXQ his roles were: main vocalist, visual, face of the group and those are his current roles in JYJ.

The following YouTube video is of TVXQ’s song “Mirotic.” It was released on September 26, 2008. The album that Mirotic was sold on was the first Kpop album to surpass 500K in sales (quantity sold, not money) in four years. This was also the last album released by TVXQ with members Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu. The group also had to change the lyrics as some of them were considered to be too provocative in order to promote the album on various shows and to be able to air the MV during prime time hours. The ruling was later overturned, but it was after the promotional period had ended for the song. The song has also been covered numerous times by younger groups.

Jaejoong made his solo debut on January 16, 2013 with the song “Mine” and the music video for that song is below. He hasn’t had a Korean release since 2016, though he did release a few songs in Japanese since then including in 2021.

100+ Idol Debuts Chapter 1: Hug

Meet SM and Korea Idol. My couple for doing the Family Oriented 100 Baby Challenge.

SM is named after the music company in South Korea that started the formula for bringing KPop groups to the public. Train the people in singing, rapping, dancing, acting and then debut them in groups.

Korea is named after South Korea where the artists I will be featuring promote their music primarily.

SM’s traits are: Perfectionist, Genius, and Creative. His current and first aspiration is Bestselling Author.

Korea’s traits have been set to: Perfectionist, Creative, and Family-Oriented. Her current and first aspiration is Painter Extraordinaire.

But we spent too much on the house at first and we couldn’t afford to paint anything. So I sent Korea fishing.

And I had SM start writing.

They eventually earn enough for Korea to start painting.

SM is writing so much that he broke his computer.

SM’s also going to be the primary chef of the family and he attempted to make my third attempt at the 100 Baby Challenge a short one.

But his attempt at burning the place down failed and they soon earned enough money to furnish the house enough for me to be comfortable with starting the birthing of the babies.

And successful after the second attempt – we tried twice in a row.

Because they currently are just painting and writing at this point, 3 days goes by quickly and Korea gives birth to a baby boy named U-Know.

During the next few days, Korea completes her aspiration. We haven’t even hit 2 weeks yet. We started in Spring and I have 2 week seasons and we haven’t even hit Love Day yet. Love Day falls on the first day that I’m allowed to age up U-Know to toddler.

I also in this period buy Creative Visionary for both SM and Korea as that helps them create masterpieces and bestsellers.

I’ve shifted Korea’s aspiration first to Super Parent to get the quick aspiration point boost and then move her over to soulmate.

Because it’s Love Day and Love Day asks for Sims to go on a date.

And because the final step of their date was to woohoo, figured might as well have them try for another baby.

To which they were successful.

Date was ended at this point, because they were at gold at this point anyway and it was time to focus on aging U-Know up.

His toddler trait is Silly.

U-Know Idol is named after Jung Yunho. He is a member of TVXQ and had the stage name U-Know. He was born on February 6, 1986 in Gwangju, South Korea. His roles in the group are Leader, Main Rapper, Main Dancer, Vocalist and Center.

TVXQ debuted on December 26, 2003 under SM Entertainment as a 5 member group consisting of: U-Know, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, and Max. In 2010, Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu sued SM Entertainment for various issues involving their contract, scheduling, and money. This eventually led to the three of them leaving SM and therefore leaving TVXQ. U-Know and Max decided to continue TVXQ as a duo. Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu joined company C-JeS and debuted there as the band JYJ in 2010. TVXQ has had only 1 hiatus since debuting in 2003. The hiatus was from April 2015 to August 2017 when U-Know and Max were doing their mandatory 2 year Korean military service.

The following YouTube video is of TVXQ’s debut song “Hug”. Please keep in mind that the video was recorded back in 2003. It was released on December 26, 2003. All five members of TVXQ were under 18 in international age at the time the video was released. It was the song that earned the group their first music show win.

U-Know made his solo debut on June 12, 2019 with the song “Follow” and the music video for that is below. He is still releasing solo music and his most recent releases are “Thank You” and “Eeny Meeny”. Normally, I’ll just list one, but these two released about a month apart from each other.
